Im sending this out a little early because I have a doctor’s appointment I have to be at. We did not end up closing below the 21 ema yesterday and today we followed up with nice earnings from Taiwan Semi and Apple got a large upgrade before tomorrow’s order vision pro release. We got that perfect hammer below on the 21 ema and are now back over the 8 ema. The market has been saved again. It’s interesting how everyone is running with the rate cut narrative, but rate cuts aren’t happening unless they need to, meaning we’re in a recession. Semis continue to lead us and seem indestructible gaining 2-3% a day.

Oil is up near $74 and held a major level. It now looks pretty good and seems to want higher. Oil names have been horribly weak and would love to see oil move back up. The tensions in Yemen haven’t been a help to this point, but regardless oil seems to want higher finally with a few bullish oil trades below as well.

Yields ticked up again today and the TNX is up near 10% in the last 3 weeks. If this can climb up over 42 it can start to be a wrecking ball again.

Recent Trades

In yesterday’s recap I had noted those Apple weekly 185 call buys in the table 10,000x. Those went up over 10x today 1 session later, impressive timing.

Another recent one I had noted recently was MRVL, they have been all over this one for the past 10 days and today it popped 6% to nearly $70 before cooling off a bit. Back on 1-11 it had 3 large trades in 1 session and had seen a few since, impressive move on those calls.
