5/14 Recap

Again no market charts today, tomorrow is the big day, CPI. This morning PPI was hotter than expected and we immediately dumped and rallied. I hate making guesses before something like tomorrow, as I’ve said before, my longer term positioning I’m not adjusting, but if you have any shorter term calls I would close up what worries you because anything could happen tomorrow from down 500 points on the NQ to up 500 points. It’s going to be a big day, but the VIX is 13.xx right now, there is just no fear going into tomorrow which is very odd to me. If inflation doesn’t cool tomorrow, things could get very messy, so say a prayer if you’re a bull.

Recent Trades

On 4/30 I highlighted this big block of TEVA calls below and the stock is up just over 20% in 2 weeks since. Those March $20 calls went from .61 to $1.45 today, almost 150% return in 2 weeks on some serious size, the open interest is still 26,000 so none have been closed yet. Congrats if you followed this one in any manner.
