5/15/25 Recap

I’m going to be out tomorrow, travel day, so no recap, but I will be updating the database on the flight, so use today’s link to the database and you’ll be able to see things as I log them. The SPY is continuing its sideways move as the moving averages catch up, nothing really notable just a cooling period that we discussed yesterday. The 8 ema is closing in quickly and we need to see this sustain, we’ve been riding the 8 ema higher since mid April and its been a nice and smooth uptrend, we just got extended this week.

Changes Coming This Weekend

If you’re signed up, I want you to know there will be NO CHANGES to whatever you have, the changes only impact people who pay after I make the change sunday morning. I’m not going to offer the recap by itself anymore like I do now, everyone signed up now will still get them as always. The reason is substack only offers 1 monthly payment option and I want to use it for the live part of the discord. I think there is way too much value in the live part and not enough people use it.

Yes it is more more than double the price, but you’ve got live access to the data vs getting it mid day and over 200 very active traders to interact with daily. Like I tell people who ask me if its worth it, if you can’t make back the less than $10/day it costs, you’re in the wrong hobby. There are 3 channels: a live feed, a discussion area, and a channel where everyone in there posts what they’re taking. So while the community discord is great and 1,400 people are in there, I think alot are missing out on the live channels so I want to be able to offer some way for people to use them without paying annually for it. I tried this in December for a few days and it went really well so now I’m going to just make it permanent. Bottom line if you want just the recaps, you have till sunday to sign up and you will get them, if you aren’t paid by sunday and you just want the recaps alone, there won’t be any way to get them after that without signing up for the live tier.

The 3 channels most of you do not see are like this, when you’re signed up they will appear in your discord. The good thing with the live part is even after I send out the recap whenever I log trades they are automatically posted within the discord to “live” so you’re getting option flows all afternoon without having to open the database and you can bounce ideas with all those people in there. Aside from that I post a database link once a month for the people in there so you don’t get an expiring link like I post everyday in the recap for those who want to be able to search the database during the session.
