5/8/26 Recap

The SPY continues in this uptrend, not much color to add here, you can see the clean ride up along this 8 ema. The past 2 days we’ve seen oil open red and then flip green as there are conflicting reports coming out of Iran. I would say if anything is going to derail this market it is going to be some escalation with Iran but I just have a hard time seeing Trump going back to that with how well the market is going right now and how it reacted in March. As egregious as this move is getting, you have to stay long until this 8 ema is lost that’s about all I can say right now.
