The SPY made a huge move overnight on a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran. Will this deal sustain, I don’t know, but for now the market is loving it and oil is plunging into the abyss. The SPY had 2 tests of the 21 ema in back to back sessions and held right where it was supposed to without a single close below there. Oddly enough we’re right back to literally where we were on thursday when I issued that first warning about the market facing some headwinds from a potential war in the middle east so all in all we’ve done nothing in that timeframe. Now you have some clarity if you want to put some tech back on but let’s be honest here, this has been a pretty bad year for the mag 7 with only MSFT,META, and NVDA outperforming the other 4 are down on the year with Apple and Tesla both down big around 20% really underperforming the market. The chart below is just more validation for those who always ask when does market weakness begin, it always begins below the 21 ema and we saved it for the time being so for now you can keep pressing your longs. Just be mindful of that line and take a break below it and you will always be safe from pain.

My Open Book

I put on a lot of trades today, I know it is alot to take in but again guys my book is my book, this isn’t supposed to be your book, its just me explaining my thought process on what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. These last 2 days have been absolutely insane, my book is up almost 10% in 2 sessions and I wasn’t even really bullish coming into yesterday. I really don’t even know what to say, the leverage I’ve employed has worked even better than I imagined and I’m really likely to just sit put here in the weeks ahead as I really don’t even need to make many tweaks to have my book rise another 20-30% from here to year end if the market holds up. To say I’m in a good spot right now is an understatement.
