The SPY continues its levitation act as the United States and China begin their meeting to discuss trade. We have CPI this week which will be our big moving event but any news that emerges from this meeting with China will impact us. This slow and steady grind higher is exactly what bulls want to see because you don’t want to get too extended from the moving averages since that only means you will have a violent pullback to them. Right now we have not been below the 21 ema since EASTER! This is a beautiful uptrend until we break back below that 21 ema. If you’re worried about CPI, you should probably take some risk off into that.

  1. LNG - I sold to open 200 more of the short puts I was in, this time for $7.64-7.84, this big selloff today was all the hot money exiting after it wasn’t part of the SPY inclusion, just like HOOD. I really do like this name alot the rest of the year and I now am short 500 of the January $200 puts, these are using alot of margin so I had to close up a few things.
